A rate of 9.50p was raised.
The Clerk reminded Members of the need to declare interests in relevant matters. Appropriate declarations were duly made.
The Board received an updated report on the Flood and Coastal Defence Funding Review, the Public Bodies Bill and the Flood and Water Management Act. Reports were also given on the Water Framework Directive and Spoil Disposal.
Members further considered the proposals for amalgamations and agreed to continue negotiations with White Fen DDC with regard to possible amalgamation.
Members noted the position regarding the unchanged precept figure and agreed to pay the subscription to ADA for 2012.
The update from the Cambridgeshire Flood Risk Management Partnership was noted.
The Board considered and approved the report of their Consulting Engineers, and requested that they provide proposals and costings for a new water control structure between points 128 – 13 to better control levels.
The Environmental Officer’s Newsletter, biodiversity manual were noted and progress in implementing the Board's BAP discussed.
The payments were approved.
The Report of the Internal Auditor; and the system of Internal Control were discussed and approved.
